From fast food to financial analysts, folks are leaving jobs in droves. I’m certainly not smart enough to explain the why behind the what.
The concept is accelerated with the pandemic, but it is not new. I watched this happen to my more impressive friends. They spent years working hard, got into the field they loved, rocked it, and got promoted.
Years of study or experience for job one. Zero preparation for job two. No wonder there are so many bad bosses.
So if you are here, there are two ways you can go. 1. Be a manager. Better money and your LinkedIn profile is much more impressive. 2. Demote yourself back to the job you loved.
